Inspiration...

Ever felt like every day doesn't feel quite real?

That's what I'm feeling at this very moment... physically away from the place I call home at heart, new friends just a few doors down but relishing the freedom I get alone. And it's peaceful, quiet and relaxing. Sky is grey but the sun's still shining. Memories just don't lead up to this day...

Waking every morning from a dream I can't remember, except for the few that linger the last few seconds, a reminder of what I'm still afraid of deep down. Coming back to reality, before I swing my feet off the bed, I count my blessings and tell myself how grateful I am for the little things in the every day, and the people I've met along the way. The acquaintances. The close friends. Even those who I used to love but have only left me with a taste of lessons to come...

With these thoughts, I am inspired to make use of my creative outlets to dress up a little poetic license and indulge in my passion for writing. Alas my craft tools and materials are still far from reach but I shall be looking forward to the day I can get my hands on them and create more beautiful pieces for others to cherish...

I believe in the "I saw this and thought of you" moments that make each item so very dear and so unique to all of us, don't you agree? Its price in money doesn't factor into its value, and that is the inspiration I take with all the pieces I create...

As of writing, I am awaiting the arrival of beautiful, exotic laces to dress up my very bare headdresses. In one more month I hope to be able to finish off my designs and show you all a snippet of what's to come. Fingers crossed my application for SMASH 2012 is successful >_<

Until next time, keep your thoughts happy and pure!!

Comeback!!

Hello to all my lovely deadly night shades,

I haven't been updating this blog in ages due to my travels for work, so my sincerest apologies for that...

To update, many things have happend to me, mostly regarding work so I've been pretty flat out and interstate for most of the year. However, you will be glad to hear that I've managed to fit in some time over the Christmas break to design a range of new headdresses, sourced from both locally and internationally bought matierals <3 I will be back at SMASH 2012 again, sharing a stall with my good friend from Romance Noir, as well as a newcomer designer friend who makes cute paper craft. I do hope you can come visit our stall and support us on the day!!

Now that I've revived this blog, I'll do my best to update it regularly. Who knows, maybe it WILL end up as my personal blog after all!

Until next time,
